"To create creative interactive and engaging rich media websites and applications that are truly world class and of the highest possible quality."
Using Adobe Flex, PHP and Kaltura, Rudi put together a browser based online video editor so that history students across the state can create, upload, edit and share digital history video research projects online with access to Melbourne Museum's collection of media artefacts.
Challenges included coming to terms with Kaltura's considerable lack of documentation, source code inconsistencies, setting up RTMPT webcam streaming through the museum's complex hosting environment, Linux administration and VM building.

With Adobe Flex Rudi created the main kiosk video delivery application used within ACMI's permanent Screen Worlds exhibition.
As the application was going to be permanent exhaustive testing of the application was required to ensure the kiosks would not break, or create memory leaks even under considerable strain and incorrect use. The discovery of bugs within the Flash platform itself and writing patching code in compensation proved to be a great challenge to solve.

Screen Worlds is on permanent exhibition at Federation Square, Melbourne.
Leveraging some of the power of Drupal, and working with Regression on Design and Animation, Rudi put together a content managed website for Future Entertainment's 'Future Music Festival' 2012.
A considerably difficult job, which, due to unintended circumstances required an incredibly short design to launch turnaround. Grappling with the complexities of Drupal whilst dealing with the issues involved in setting up a site ready to take 100,000+ views a day was a major challenge.

Omelette Records needed animation for use within their new website to reflect the playful element of the music they released. Rudi devised a series of Flash animation experiments to create sensory interest and incorporated it into their website.

Using Flex and Adobe AIR, Rudi has designed and created a custom online video player for Iluka Industries in order to present and pitch to their investors.
Challenges were to come up with new polished ideas for delivering online video. The solution involved creating a fullscreen television like experience whilst still giving the user the ability to surf videos at the same time.
